Are you a Teacher on supply looking to open up new opportunities for yourself? Maybe you're looking for more flexible work with no planning and marking? Teaching Personnel are looking to add high calibre Teachers to our current pool to service schools across the Sunderland area and want to hear from you!
What can you expect as a Supply Teacher?
- Earn up to £130 per day depending on responsibilities for general cover
- Earn up to £230 per day teaching your specialist subject depending on the role & its responsibilities
- Deliver lessons without the hassle of planning and prepping
- Experience what it is like to work in different Secondary schools
- Network and introduce yourself to various schools
- Autonomy over where and when you work
- Potential to gain experience in areas not accessible to typical Teachers
The ideal candidate:
- Hold UK recognised QTS
- Able to travel across the Sunderland area
- Comfortable teaching pupils between the age of 11-18
- Happy to receive on the morning calls for bookings (pre-booked work is available normally)
- Strong behaviour management skills
Working on supply is a great way to introduce yourself to new schools and to find out which type of workplace environment benefits your style of Teaching. From our experience, the amount of people who are initially introduced as a Supply Teacher into a school and are subsequently employed by the school later is exceptionally high. With continuity being a key factor for schools, supply work can help you to secure that ideal, long term role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
