At Teaching Personnel, we are looking for a supply teacher to work in the South Manchester area, specifically Didsbury.

This role will require you to work within multiple schools in the Didsbury area all easily accessible through public transport and near main roads, as a result we expect all candidates to either have a car or be willing to travel up to an hour on public transport. This role does not require teacher specific experience but does require you have transferable skills or experience in a related role.

Pay for this role will be £12.90 an hour at a minimum with the possibility for this to increase if there are additional responsibilities or you are a more experienced candidate.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will be required to ensure that the behaviour of the class is effectively managed to minimise any disruption caused by the absence of their regular teacher.
  • You will have no planning or marking responsibilities for this role, you will be provided with pre-planned lessons.
  • It is essential that you are able to deliver a high standard of pre-planned lessons, based across multiple subjects.
  • If there is any subject specific cover available in your own specialism, it is highly likely that you will be prioritised for this work.
