Supply Primary teachers needed in Cardiff

Teaching Personnel are actively looking to recruit experienced and passionate Supply Teachers to work within Primary schools in and around Cardiff. Short term supply teaching is ideal for qualified teachers who are looking for flexibility within their working week and enjoy experiencing different areas, schools, year groups and classes. You will be contacted on a weekly and/or daily basis (at you preference) to check on your availability for the upcoming week and which days you will be available to work. We also organise pre-bookings for schools (for example maternity/paternity cover, short term sickness, course cover, etc.) in which you will know about the booking in advance and will be able to organise your diary ahead. You can earn up to £95 per day based on your experience, schools and availability.
You must be a well organised, efficient and reflective practitioner with high expectations of child development, learning and behaviour. Ideal candidates must have a minimum of one term experience within a school, as well as a QTS or equivalent if you are overseas trained. Knowledge of the British and/or International curriculum is a must.
Applicants must :
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border
- Provide two professional or character references
- Be available to interview and/or trial asap
- Be available to start on short notice
- Be living in Cardiff and/or have plans to move to Cardiff in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Cardiff
