Teaching Personnel are looking for sports coaches who have experience of working with children or young adults for work within local SEN schools. We work with a variety of schools across Lancashire who have requirements for full-time support staff to work with students with additional needs. Whilst you wouldn't necessarily be teaching sport you will be using your coaching skills to build rapport and develop relationships with these students.
The roles we can offer will be suitable if you:
- Have a sports background in training and/or coaching
- Have a confident and friendly personality
- Can remain calm under stressful situations
- Have experience of working with young people
- Have experience of teaching sports to young people with SEMH / ASC
Pay rates depend on your previous experience but in general vary from £50 - £60 per day.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
