Sports Coach

Teaching Personnel have been approached by a school in Preston who are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant from a sporting background.

The school caters for 11-16-year olds who have SEMH difficulties and / or ASC and provides support for children who face social, emotional or behavioural challenges.

The school aims to support each child to become more independent and enable them to be more responsible, aspiring to unearth each pupil’s uniqueness and encourage and guide them to success. 

Although this is not strictly a sports coach role, the school prefer candidates with a sporting background as they tend to have a greater ability to build rapport with their children and, historically, embody the attributes which the school look for.

The role will encompass supporting students across the curriculum and assisting students during their day to day life within school. As the role continues, the role may evolve to 1:1 support of a certain child depending on how the candidate fits within the school.

The hours for this role is 9am-3pm.

The pay for this role will be GBP60-GBP70

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
