Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Chorley based School which caters for KS3/4 pupils with SEMH Dificulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and/or Challenging Behaviours. The School are looking for an additional member of staff who can split their time effectively between delivering sports and working in class as a Teaching Assistant. The School is smaller than average and caters for currently, approximately 55 pupils, both males and females.

The School are hoping to appoint a full time member of staff from as soon as possible, the ideal candidate will also hold a valid UK driving licence as you will be expected to work across 2 sites. The School are looking to appoint a hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and flexible member of staff to join their growing team.

The School have recently changed Head Teacher and is currently graded Outstanding by Ofsted. The School cater for pupils who are no longer in mainstream education, for a number of reasons. The School is based on the outskirts of Chorley and candidates must be willing to work full time.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- long term position available

- rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH difficulties
