We are currently looking for a Speech and Language Specialist Teaching Assistant for a part time position to start with immediate effect.
The school is at the heart of its community and part of a Multi Academy Trust. Membership of the Academy Trust provides a range of opportunities for partnership working and continuing professional development with an outstanding secondary school and a network of primary schools within the locality.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be working across Nursery to Year 6 specialising in supporting the delivery of Speech and Language intervention. You will need to be able to show strong evaluative skills and be able to present impact to the Senior Leadership Team.
You will need to:
- have strong communication skills and be able to work proactively with outside agencies, parents and other members of staff
- have experience of delivering a wide range of speech and language programmes and intervention
- have the ability to create a wide range of resources specifically to support speech and language
- have experience of delivering EAL interventions/support
