Key Stage 2 - Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently working with schools in the Spalding area, and we are looking for KS2 Teachers to fill short-term & long-term cover.
A Quick Overview
Our schools are looking for teachers who are confident, adaptable, creative & fun, whilst still having excellent class management. You will teach across the curriculum, with focus on the core subjects, paired with partaking in pastoral and administrative duties.
Duties & The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with primary pupils – particularly, in Key Stage 2
- Build & maintain effective, informative, relationships with parents/guardians
- Plan & deliver the teaching programme, ensuring it is adaptive to each class/student
- Regularly set ambitious, yet achievable targets for pupils - monitoring progress and attainment closely
Qualification and Vetting
The successful candidate will be required to show proof of appropriate qualification for the post (UK QTS certification) and ECT’s are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates must provide details (when requested) of appropriate referee’s and consent to being subject to ‘Child Only’ DBS checks as per our vetting procedures.
Salary & Working Hours
The rate of pay will depend on experience, but Teaching Personnel can guarantee a price match against any other agency – ensuring your trust in us representing you, stays at an all-time high!
Full time hours (Minimum 8.30am – 3.30pm)
Extra hours may be required for staff meetings, inspections and parent consultations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
