Maths Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and highly experienced Maths specialist looking for a new challenge?
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Maths teacher to join a fantastic team in an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary school in Northampton. The role involves teaching Key stages 3 and 4 and getting involved with the Head of department to ensure students learning is progressing.
Northampton - Northamptonshire
Salary:
£110- £190 Per day
Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
- Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Maths or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of Maths curriculum and teaching techniques
Experience:
Prior experience in teaching Maths is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Experience teaching Secondary students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience with assessment and examination processes
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position
- Typical school hours with additional time for lesson planning and assessment
- Classroom-based teaching with occasional extracurricular activities

The school is apart of Creative Education Trust and pursue a rigorous and continuous programme of educational improvement. This is alongside an aim to provide students with a rich programme of extra-curricular activities. The school offers a varied diet of curriculum and enrichment opportunities and students benefit from Trust organised events such as the key concept launch days, debate and essay writing competitions.
The school is located in the heart of NN4, with a huge car park to ensure all members of staff get an allocated space. The school has lots of public transport routes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
