A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant in an SEN school in Bournemouth. This role involves working with children with SEMH and EBD, and you will be required to work with children 1:1.
The school has roughly about 40 children on site, and they have small classes of about 6 per class.! All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
As well as the National Curriculum, the school offers a personalised, innovative curriculum to meet particular learning needs, focused on practical, community based learning, creating a warm environment where children positively thrive!
The post requires a talented SEN TA / Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.
The role will include:
* Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
* 1-1 work with students who require additional support
* Leading group work
* Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
