Core Subject Graduates – Immediate School-Based Experience
Are you a Maths, English or Science graduate considering teacher training in the future?
Would you like to gain hands-on classroom experience before starting a PGCE or School Direct course in September?
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting Core Subject Graduates to work in supportive, Wigan based secondary schools, providing invaluable experience ahead of teacher training.
The Role:
• Immediate start roles available
• Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Paid school-based experience
• Excellent preparation for PGCE / teacher training routes
Responsibilities may include:
• 1:1 and small group intervention in your subject area
• Supporting pupils ahead of key exams
• Assisting in lessons and covering classes when required
• Supporting departmental planning and marking
This is an ideal opportunity for graduates looking to build confidence, classroom presence, and practical experience before committing to formal teacher training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
