Supply Cover Teacher
Location: Atherton (M46)
Start Date: ASAP / January
Contract: Flexible / Full-time or Part-time
Pay: £100 per day
Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming secondary school in Atherton who require additional Supply Cover Teachers to support with regular day-to-day and short-term cover needs. The school experiences consistent staff absence due to training, illness and internal cover, and are looking to build a reliable bank of supply staff.
This is an ideal opportunity for qualified teachers, ECTs, or strong cover supervisors confident delivering lessons across KS3 and KS4.
The Role
-
Deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects
-
Ensure pupils stay on task and maintain expected behaviour standards
-
Provide support to students where required
-
Be flexible moving between subjects and year groups
-
Build positive working relationships with staff and pupils
-
Work on an ad-hoc or regular basis depending on your availability
The Ideal Candidate
-
QTS or strong classroom experience (ECTs welcome)
-
Confident managing behaviour and leading a classroom
-
Adaptable and able to step into multiple subject areas
-
Good communication and professional presentation
-
Holds a DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
