Are you experienced in supporting young people who have Special Educational Needs? Have you developed the passion to contribute to their educational development and overall welfare?
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a Special Educational Needs School in the High Wycombe area to recruit for their September return. This particular school has two seperate sites both specialising in a diverse range of complex needs - their new opprtunity is for the setting that caters to pupils with Speech, Language & Communication Needs and Complex ASD.
The school's vision for their pupils is as follows:
Success Through Wellbeing. 'This may look very different from one child /young person to another, and it is important that we recognise individual ‘success’ through a great diversity of achievements, including social communication, physical development, independence and academic progress. Our belief is that for this to be realised, we need to recognise the importance of wellbeing.'
The school are committed to welcoming a new member of staff to meet the needs of their new intake in September. This individual must be able to demonstrate an active working knowledge or previous history as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant within either a school setting or another similar setting.

- Training with the National Autisitic Society
- NCFE Cache level 3 Award in Supporting Children and Young People's Speech, Language and Communication.
- British Sign Language
- Makaton
- Psychology background
- SEN TA experience
- Residential support/care worker
- Team-Teach trained
- Personal/ family experience with SEN
- Mentoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
