SENCO Fulltime Newton Abbot area to start in September 2020

More about the role
The successful applicant will be required to identify students with SEN or a disability and coordinate provision that meets the pupils' needs.
Part of your role will be to ensure records are maintained and kept up to date and review health and care plan with parents, pupils or carers.
You will be responsible for ensuring that if a pupil transfers to another school all relevant information is passed over to them and to support the pupil for a smooth transition.
You will also promote pupils inclusion in the school, community and access to the curriculum and work with teachers for looked after children, where a looked after pupil has SEN or a disability.
