Pay Rate: £13.75 to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Do you have the patience, resilience, and commitment to help every child reach their full potential? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Prescot (L34) area starting October 2025.

You will be joining a warm and inclusive primary school that values every child as an individual. The staff are committed to creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where all pupils, regardless of their background or abilities, can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be calm, patient, and nurturing in their approach
  • Have a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Be adaptable and able to respond to a range of different situations
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Work well within a team and take initiative when needed
  • Have a willingness to undertake training and professional development opportunities
  • Ideally, have previous experience in a similar role (although this is not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
