Learning Support Assistant (Primary School) – Maghull
Location: Maghull, Merseyside
Start Date: ASAP or Novemeber 2025 (after half-term)

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Maghull is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from November 2025. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity through Teaching Personnel, offering the potential for a long-term role in a nurturing school environment.
✨ About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs (SEND)
- Assist small groups both inside and outside the classroom to reinforce learning
- Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and daily routines
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment tailored to individual needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEND setting
- A calm, patient, and supportive approach
- Strong communication skills and a flexible attitude
- A DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
- A genuine passion for education and helping children thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
