SEND & SEMH Education Roles – Teachers & Support Staff (East Sussex)
Across East Sussex, a number of SEND and SEMH schools are looking to strengthen their teams with educators who are steady, reliable and genuinely committed to supporting young people with additional needs.
These schools work with both primary and secondary pupils. Some settings are nurture-led and relational, others are more structured and behaviour-focused. What they all have in common is a need for adults who are consistent, calm and invested in the work.
We are currently building a pool of teachers and classroom support staff interested in SEND and SEMH roles across the county.

Experience within SEND or SEMH is beneficial but not essential. Many schools provide ongoing guidance and support to help you develop in the role.

A valid child-only DBS is required. If you do not currently hold one, you will need to apply and pay for a DBS and register it on the Update Service. Support is provided to guide you through the process.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
