SEND & SEMH Education Roles – Opportunities Across East Sussex
I’m currently working with a range of SEND and SEMH schools across East Sussex, supporting them to find reliable and thoughtful educators who are interested in working within specialist settings.
These schools support pupils across both primary and secondary phases who may need additional emotional, behavioural or learning support to access education. Staff teams place a strong emphasis on structure, consistency and positive relationships.
Rather than recruiting for just one vacancy, I’m looking to connect with educators who are open to hearing about different opportunities across the county.
Opportunities May Include
-
Teaching Assistant and Learning Support Assistant roles
-
SEND and SEMH teaching positions
-
Classroom and learning support roles
-
1:1 pupil support
-
Behaviour and engagement support roles
-
Short-term, long-term or ongoing placements
Different schools offer different environments and working styles, so the aim is to match educators with settings where they feel confident and supported.
Who This May Suit
This could be a good fit if you:
-
Have experience working with children or young people
-
Are calm, patient and able to build positive relationships
-
Enjoy working within structured environments
-
Are open to developing experience within SEND education
Experience in SEND or SEMH is helpful but not essential. Many roles provide ongoing guidance and support.
