SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our successful client school located in Macclesfield. The successful Teaching Assistant will join our client school on a full time basis in November and will required on an ongoing basis the opportunity to earn a permanent school contract.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs providing in class supporting and working in the schools SEN provision. They will work with students one-to-one and in small groups to assist with their educational and social development. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with various additional needs including Cognition and Learning Needs, Social Emotional Mental Health, ADHD, Hearing and Visual Impairments, Students with Medical Needs and Disabilities. We are therefore looking for a candidate who has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and will go above and beyond to ensure that all students recognise and achieve their potential.

Our client school is a successful expanding secondary school located in Macclesfield.  With just under 500 pupils on roll, the school is smaller than average and serves a diverse community from the surrounding areas of Cheshire East. Due to recent improvements, the school has recently become over subscribed and is highly reputable in the area. This is an exciting time to join our client school as pupil numbers continue to rise each year.
