SEN Teaching Assistant

The successful Teaching Assistant will join our client schools successful SEND team and will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Support will be provided in class, on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.

The successful Teaching Assistant will join the schools expanding SEN team and will support students with Educational Health Care Plans and additional needs. They will be supporting students with a variety of additional needs, including moderate learning difficulties and disabilities.

We are looking for a talented, compassionate individual who will help all students recognise and achieve their potential regardless of any barriers to learners.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Have the ability to provide support in mainstream lessons and the ability to deliver one-to-one and small group intervention
  • Be proactive and able to respond to each students’ needs appropriately
  • Be able to work collaboratively with a team of dedicated Teachers and Teaching Assistants

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
