SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you experienced in working with children who have additional learning needs? 

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Chorley, Lancashire area and we are seeking a hard working, empathetic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN provision, full time. 

The School is based on the outskirts of the Chorley area and candidates applying for this role must have some experience working with pupils who have additional needs. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for KS3 / 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD, Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviours. Candidates applying for this role will ideally come from an education background, have experience supporting pupils with additional needs and have their Team Teach qualification (but this is not essential). 

The role is full time, starting within the next 6 weeks. Candidates applying for this role must be available to work Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 3.30pm and be willing to undertake CPD courses through the School. 

The pay for this role is negotiable based upon experience, it starts at GBP65 per day. 

The role would suit a confident, energetic, resilient and empathetic candidate with a passion for working with pupils who are harder to reach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
