Job description
We are working with a lovely local primary school in Northampton who are looking for a SENDCo on a part time basis to support their students and families.
The role is equivalent of 3 days however this can be split into half days and be flexible across the week to meet your individual needs and personal commitments.
The role is a fixed term post for 1 year with the potential to be extended for the right candidate.
Roles & responsibilities include:
- contribute to the development of the SEND policy and provision in the school
- support raising standards of acheivements of pupils with SEN or disability
- monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the SEND provision thorugh the school
-be responsible for daily operation of the SEND policy and coordination of suporting individual pupils
What you will need:
- SENDCo qualification
-Experience working as a SENDCo in primary settings
-A passion for supporting students with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities
-dedication to support progress and development
-care and compassion to build relationships with parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
