Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Fully Qualified Primary Teacher to undertake a maternity cover teaching Year 5 from May half‑term until the end of the academic year, with a strong likelihood of the role extending into the new academic year.

This position is based within a friendly Church of England primary school in Bolton that places great emphasis on its supportive and inclusive school community.

The successful candidate will work from 8.30am to 3.30pm and will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.

 General responsibilities include:

Maintaining high standards of classroom management.

Fostering positive relationships with pupils.

Contributing to the wider school community.

Attending relevant meetings.

Ensuring the continued progress and wellbeing of all learners.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
