Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rusholme that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team from October.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a key role in preparing pupils for the next stage of their primary education, delivering engaging lessons that challenge, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils can succeed.
• Assessing, tracking, and monitoring pupil progress to ensure strong academic outcomes.
• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support pupil development.
• Promoting high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.
• Contributing positively to the wider school community and school improvement initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally in Upper KS2.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Have a strong understanding of effective teaching and assessment practices.
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting every child to reach their full potential.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about delivering outstanding learning experiences.
