Swinton | September Start | ⏰ Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Swinton to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

Key Responsibilities
As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that inspires learning and curiosity
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Can effectively adapt teaching to support diverse learning needs
- Is a confident communicator with a proactive and positive attitude
- Embraces technology as a tool to enhance teaching and learning
- Is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
