Swinton | September Start | ⏰ Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working alongside a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Swinton to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.

Key Responsibilities

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that inspires learning and curiosity
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Can effectively adapt teaching to support diverse learning needs
  • Is a confident communicator with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Embraces technology as a tool to enhance teaching and learning
  • Is committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
