Sale | September Start | ⏰ 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in Sale from September. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a passionate educator looking to make a positive impact within a thriving school community.

The Opportunity

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils and support their development during a key stage in their educational journey. You will join a dedicated team committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 and National Curriculum requirements
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Foster high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and support school improvement
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Be confident in planning differentiated lessons to support a range of learning needs
  • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
  • Be confident using technology to enhance teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
