A Special Education Needs specialist school based in Urmston is currently looking for a teaching assistant to join their esteemed ranks. They have partnered with us here at Teaching Personnel to fill a vacancy for a specialist Teaching Assistant, which you could be perfect for.

The role involves giving support to children with a range of special education needs such as Autism, ADHD, visual impairments, dyslexia, among other needs between the ages of 3-19. Experience working with children with special education needs is highly desirable due to the complex needs of the children you will be working with. This role would be perfect for someone with a Psychology or Caregiving/support work background who wants to work in the education sector.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

-          Have some experience working with individuals with special education needs/challenging behaviour or a caregiving background. This experience can have been obtained from either persona or paid roles.

-          Be organised, friendly and be confident to lead a team.

-          Have a passion for education!

-          Be comfortable with carrying out personal care
