SEN Teaching Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant that would be suitable for a school in Preston.

The school caters for children aged 2-11 with moderate to severe learning difficulties and autism. The school aspires to create a happy, safe and caring learning environment for staff and students so that the children can reach their full potential.

The candidate should help the smooth running of the classroom routine and support the children across the curriculum.

The successful candidate should be nurturing, encouraging and energetic in order to support the needs of each individual student.

The successful candidate should have previous experience working with young people with SEN and be confident in providing personal care.

The working hours are 8am -4pm Monday to Friday and the pay for this role will be GBP75 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
