Teaching Assistant – 1:1 SEN Support – Primary School in Salford

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford, currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils across the school with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Start Date: November
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEN by:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
  • Supporting the creation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Encouraging a positive, inclusive classroom culture
  • Working closely with colleagues and external professionals to ensure pupil progress

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who has:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • A willingness to complete our free safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
