Teaching Assistant – Year 3 SEN Support
Primary School in Irlam | Start Date: November | Full-Time (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Irlam, currently seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support Year 3 pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs
  • Assist the class teacher with tailored learning activities
  • Support the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work alongside staff and external professionals to promote holistic pupil development

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
  • Willingness to complete our free safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
