SEN Teaching Assistant Coordinator
Location: Norwich, Norfolk

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant Coordinator in Norwich to join a specialist setting supporting students with autism, communication needs, dyslexia, and anxiety-related barriers to learning.
You will be working in a supportive, small-class environment, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally while making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to students both in and out of the classroom
- Assist with differentiated learning activities to meet individual needs
- Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills
- Monitor student progress and liaise with teaching staff and SEN coordinators
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above)
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards)
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Experience supporting students with SEMH and/or ASD

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
