Norwich, Norfolk
£92 – £110 per day

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children or vulnerable individuals with special educational needs?

We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), Care Assistants, and SEND Support Workers to join our supply bank, supporting a range of specialist schools across Norwich and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals from education, care, or support backgrounds, or those with personal experience supporting SEND, who are looking to gain meaningful and flexible work.


About the Role

You will be supporting students with a variety of additional needs, including:

  • Autism (ASD)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)

Some students may be non-verbal, and personal care may be required as part of the role. You will play a key role in helping pupils feel supported, engaged, and included in their learning environment.


Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Flexible opportunities available through our supply bank

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with additional needs in both 1:1 and group settings
  • Assist with personal care where required
  • Help students engage with learning and daily activities
  • Build positive relationships and provide emotional support
  • Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have a passion for supporting children with SEND
  • Be patient, empathetic, and positive in approach
  • Be comfortable working with complex needs and behaviours
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Be willing to learn and adapt

Experience

  • Experience in education, care, or support work is desirable but not essential
  • Candidates with personal SEND experience are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
