Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

£80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students
Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN
Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with personal care needs of students, if required

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN

Education:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of special educational needs and how to support students effectively
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification
Training in behaviour management strategies

Working Conditions:

Working hours may vary but expected to work full-time hours
Work primarily within a school setting
May involve providing support to students with diverse and complex needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
