Are you an experienced teaching assistant?
Do you have experience working with SEN in an educational environment?
Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN TA in Ely to support a pupil in KS2 on a 1:1 basis during the afternoons of the school day, the role would start after the Easter break, it would initially be an afternoon based role but has the potential to turn into a full time position. The pupil in question is ASC , therefore the ideal candidate would have a large amount of experience working with ASC on a 1:1 basis inside or outside of an educational environment.
You would be offering support to the pupil during the afternoons of the school day, this would involve but may not be limited to- Behavioural guidance, monitoring the pupils progress and development and reporting it to the class teacher, aiding the pupil to build long lasting relationships with his teachers and co-pupils and offering support to the class teacher when needed.
The ideal candidate:
- Experienced Teaching assistant
- Experience with SEN (Ideally ASC)
- Enhanced Childs DBS on the update service
- Flexibility in terms of transport
- UK address and right to work
- Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Safeguarding training
