Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant?
Do you have previous experience working with SEN?
Teaching personnel are delighted to announce that we are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a SEN school located within north Cambridgeshire. This school is graded "outstanding" and prides itself on its ability to provide the best possible education to all pupils. This role would be starting in October and would be a full time role.
The role would involve supporting a number of pupils with SEMH on a 1:1 basis, therefore 1:1 SEN experience would be essential in a candidate. You would be supporting the pupils throughout the day in completing their daily activities, this would include but may not be limited to, behavioural guidance, monitoring of development and progress, assisting the pupil in building relationships with members of staff and other pupils. You may also be required to run small intervention sessions with small groups of pupils.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience with SEN
- Experience with SEMH
- Fully qualified Teaching Assistant
- Knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Has a DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire one through Teaching Personnel)
- UK address and right to work
- A hard working attitude to all aspect of work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
