SEN Teaching Assistant

1:1 support for pupil with SEN in Bolton Primary School

Experience in supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Communication and Language Difficulties.

A “good” Primary School in Bolton (BL3) are looking for a SEN teaching assistant to support a pupil in year 4 with Autism (ASC). The school are looking for a teaching assistant who has past experience in one to one support with SEN pupils with needs such as Autism, SEMH and Communication and Language problems.

The role is full time starting in April for the rest of the academic year but there is the opportunity to continue on the school’s contract for the right candidate. The pupil in question is currently in year 4 and is diagnosed with  Autism and really struggles socially especially interacting with other pupils and staff. He is very intelligent but requires support integrating with others.  

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of primary schools that have a well above average cohort of pupils with a variety of SEN so are always on the look out for 1:1 support teaching assistants so if this role isn’t suitable please do still get in touch and enquire about other roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
