KS3 Class Teacher, primary level curriculum – Specialist Provision (Full Time)
Location: Near Andover, Grateley Village
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent | Full Time | 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary: Competitive – Pay scale considered based on experience and qualifications
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a newly developed KS3 provision within a well-established specialist setting near Andover. This new class will cater to students in Key Stage 3 who are learning at an upper primary level, offering a nurturing and tailored approach to education.
The school is seeking a passionate class teacher who is committed to making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs. Both primary and secondary trained teachers are welcome to apply, as the focus will be on delivering learning outcomes aligned to upper primary levels, with strong pastoral support embedded in the curriculum.
About the Role:

Teaching a small KS3 class within a specialist provision, focusing on core subjects and life skills

Creating a structured, engaging and supportive learning environment

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support individual student needs

Contributing to the development of this new provision and shaping its future success
Candidate Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or Secondary trained
-
Experience or interest in working with students with additional or complex needs
-
A flexible, resilient and empathetic approach
-
Willingness to work full time, 8:30am – 5:00pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
