Do you have experience teaching the core curriculum: Maths, Science, English and Art to GCSE?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Our SEN specialist partner school are looking to appoint an engaging Special Educational Needs Teacher in Cambridgeshire. You will be teaching core subjects with some Art to GCSE level, promoting well-being and ensuring pupils have access to their education entitlement.

The School

  • Have an extremely supportive and enthusiastic team of staff
  • Small class sizes and additional support staff, meaning that you spend more time teaching
  • The school has a strong focus on the promotion of well-being as well as vocational and academic programmes, which are personalised for students.
  • Encouraging the development and confidence of each pupil is the upmost importance of the school, it is vital that you are passionate about education and teaching SEN pupils.

To apply for this role

  • You must be confident in managing challenging behaviour
  • You must be a qualified teacher with experience teaching all core subjects and Art to KS3 and KS4.
  • You should have excellent knowledge of the GCSE curriculum.
  • You should either have experience of working with students with SEMH, communication difficulties or complex needs or have a strong interest and a passion to teach pupils with SEN.

This is a long-term position, starting ASAP on either full-time or part-time basis. There is also an opportunity of a permanent contract, through an introduction with Teaching Personnel.
