Are you passionate about helping children develop strong literacy skills? TP Tutors is looking for a Primary English Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition to pupils in Nottingham (NG5).

This rewarding opportunity allows you to support children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping them build confidence, strengthen their reading and writing skills, and reach their full potential.


✨ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging, tailored 1:1 English lessons

  • Support pupils with reading, writing, comprehension, and grammar

  • Create creative and engaging learning activities to keep pupils motivated

  • Track progress and plan next steps to improve learning outcomes

  • Help build confidence and a love of learning in every child


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience teaching or tutoring primary-aged children (KS1/KS2)

  • Strong knowledge of the primary English curriculum and literacy skills

  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
