SEN Teacher

Due to a growing demand for SEN teachers to work in Mainstream schools, Teaching Personnel are on the look out for a number SEN specialist teachers who are experienced or can teaching primary schools in the Doncaster and Dearne areas of South Yorkshire.

The role will consist of visiting a number of different schools on both a long and short term basis.

In some instances some of the schools that currently opt to use Teaching Personnel's services will require teaching to work with SEN students on a one-to-one basis outside of a general class room setting.

Teaching personnel's ideal teacher would;

• Have a flexible and understanding approach to teaching SEN students
• Be committed to offer a high standard of teaching and have a positive attitude to children's learning whilst representing Teaching personnel
• Resourceful, planning exciting and engaging lessons
• Knowledgeable about current assessments
• Knowledge of phonics schemes would be beneficial but not essential
• Access to a car or be prepared to travel via public transport
