Teaching Assistant – Supply (32 Hours per Week)
Yeovil, Somerset | Full-Time | Immediate Start
An exceptional specialist provision in Yeovil supporting children and young people aged 4–18 with complex additional needs. The school provides a stable, caring and highly structured environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential.

The Role
-
Working hours 8.40am to 4.30pm

Supporting pupils aged 4 - 18
-
Providing 1:1 and small group support
-
Assisting with literacy, numeracy, ICT and personalised learning goals
-
Supporting personal care, mobility and medical needs where required
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
This is a hands-on and rewarding role within a dynamic special school environment.
Requirements
-
Minimum 6 months childcare experience
-
Essential experience supporting children with SEN needs
-
Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
