SEN Teaching Assistant – Part Time – Immediate Start – Somerset
We are working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist provision in Somerset that supports pupils aged 11 to 14 with additional needs.

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil on a part-time basis, working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm, with an immediate start.
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Pupils within the setting have a range of needs, including:

SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs

Challenging behaviours

Additional learning difficulties

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience

Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly SEMH needs

Confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent manner

Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
