Teaching Personnel – Secondary English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
Vale of Glamorgan
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Until July 2026 (with potential extension for the 2026/27 academic year)
Pay: £172.98 – £238.95 per day (paid to scale)
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a strong focus on delivering engaging, high-quality English lessons that inspire a love of literature and language.
The Role:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
  • Monitor and support student progress to ensure positive outcomes
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school policies
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student development
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic
