Teaching Personnel is supporting a welcoming, community-focused secondary school in Farnborough to recruit a dedicated Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible. This is the perfect opportunity to explore a future in teaching while gaining hands‑on experience in a school rated “Good” by Ofsted.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining continuity of learning across the school day. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 & 4
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Creating a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment
• Supporting students with additional or special educational needs
• Building positive, professional relationships with pupils

This is an excellent opportunity to develop classroom presence, behaviour management skills and subject‑flexible teaching experience.

Who We’re Looking For

• Graduates considering teacher training

• Confident working with students aged 11–16
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable leading a class
• Strong communicators with the ability to motivate and engage learners

Experience in a school or youth setting is beneficial, but not essential—full support will be provided.
