Teaching Personnel is supporting a secondary school in Andover to appoint a confident, motivated Cover Supervisor to start immediately. This role offers the perfect blend of variety, development and support—while giving you the classroom exposure needed for future teacher training.


The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead classes during teacher absence, delivering pre‑prepared lesson plans
  • Support pupils to stay engaged, focused and on‑task across a range of subjects
  • Manage behaviour in line with school policies and promote a positive learning culture
  • Provide clear instructions, maintain routines and ensure learning continues smoothly
  • Build valuable KS3–KS4 experience that strengthens teacher training applications

This role is widely recognised as a stepping stone into teaching and education careers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
