SEN Teaching Assistant – PR2

-          Full Time

-          SEN Support Assistant.

-          ASD Experience needed.

-          Fulwood based.

-          Supporting in an SEN department.

An amazing opportunity has arisen within a Secondary School in Fulwood to support children with Special Educational Needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role requires the successful candidate to support on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday.

Roles and responsibilities:

-          Working under the direction of the Class Teacher and SENCO.

-          To liaise closely with the Class Teacher and any external professionals that provide support.

-          Supervising and providing support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

-          To monitor the pupils progress and report any development milestones that have been reached against the pupil’s targets.

-          To support pupils to learn as independently as possible.

-          To support pupils to manage their emotions and behaviour.

-          To establish a good professional relationship with the children.

-          To attend and contribute to relevant team meetings and planning.

-          PR2 based, Fulwood.

-          Secondary school.

-          On-site staff parking.

-          Friendly staff team.

-          Supportive Senior leadership team.

-          SEN Provision attached to the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
