SEN Teachers required for Supply Teaching in SEN Schools in Thanet

Your new company

Teaching Personnel are in partnership with specialist SEN schools and provisions across Thanet and offer full-time and part-time supply teaching jobs for experienced SEN teachers and NQTs in special education and alternative education.

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a cluster of specialist SEN schools across Thanet, Canterbury and Ashford. Demand for trained SEN Teachers with knowledge and experience of supporting students with additional needs (in particular Autism, MLD and SLD) at the moment is high and Teaching Personnel are looking for local based Teachers that are looking for supply work. Due to current circumstances, our partner schools are currently looking for teachers to support exclusively with their school, working across different classrooms where needed, but being the first port of call for supply needs for their school.

We support schools with hiring Teachers throughout the academic year for permanent, fixed term contract, long term supply, daily emergency and planned absence cover.

Your new role
Supply teaching can vary from a single day to a whole term and can also lead to permanent positions. Work when and where you want, build close relationships with schools and give yourself a head start…all whilst earning a competitive daily rate!

What you’ll need to succeed
You must have Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching in a Secondary School setting (NQT’s are still encouraged to apply). You must also have had a minimum of 40 days teaching experience in the last 2 years as references will be required. You’ll need to undergo Teaching Personnel’s compliance process whilst also being professional and have a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes.

You will have a strong interest for working with students with additional needs and have an enthusiastic and dynamic approach to your classroom practice. You will be able and willing to adapt your planning and resources to suit varying needs within your class and assist pupils to overcome any barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
