Full-Time KS1 Teaching Assistant – Year 1
Location: Padgate, Warrington
Start Date: 23rd February
We are delighted to be working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Padgate, Warrington, who are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their Year 1 team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children at a crucial stage of their learning journey. The school has a strong community feel, a supportive staff team, and a nurturing environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to thrive.
The Role:
- Full-time position supporting a Year 1 class
- Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons
- Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed
- Helping pupils with phonics, early reading, writing, and numeracy
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working within a primary or early years setting
- Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic about working with KS1 children
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be proactive, reliable, and adaptable
- Have a genuine passion for helping children succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
