SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Make an Impact in Milton Keynes!

The Essentials
- Location: Milton Keynes & surrounding areas
- Pay: £93 – £110 per day
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
- Contract: Full-Time Agency Cover with Permanent opportunities available
The Role: What You’ll Be Doing
As an SEN LSA, you aren’t just a classroom assistant; you are a mentor and a guide. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Targeted Support: Providing 1:1 and small group intervention for students with diverse needs.
- Overcoming Barriers: Helping pupils manage emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.
- Inclusive Learning: Adapting materials and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure no child is left behind.
- Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with teachers and SENCOs to create a safe, positive environment.
Who We Are Looking For
We need "people people"—those who remain calm under pressure and lead with empathy.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting and supporting SEN pupils is highly desirable.
- Specialist Skills: Team Teach training and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) experience are highly valued.
- Mindset: A dedicated, resilient approach with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations safely.
- Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
