Day Rate: £160 - £180 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing personalised learning journeys that meet individual EHCP targets
  • Creating calm, structured environments that support sensory and emotional regulation
  • Working side-by-side with skilled support staff, therapists, and families
  • Encouraging independence, communication, and self-expression
  • Monitoring and celebrating progress in all its forms - academic, social, and personal
  • Being a consistent and caring presence in the lives of pupils who need it most

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in SEN or inclusive education
  • Strong knowledge of SEND teaching strategies and alternative communication approaches
  • A creative and proactive mindset
  • Emotional resilience and a passion for pupil-centred practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
