Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant Work Available in Haywards Heath

  • You will be expected to work with pupils with in group and one to one situation
  • Ideally you will have an understanding and commitment to the concepts of inclusion, entitlement and partnerships
  • Personal consultant to assist you when needed

With a number of mainstream primary schools requesting support staff to work one to one with pupils, Teaching Personnel are looking for individuals to assist those that need extra help with their learning across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 age groups.

If you have recent experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN), Autism (ASD), moderate learning difficulties (MLD) or behavioural problems; we would love to find you a role as a teaching assistant, learning support assistant or individual needs assistant.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
